Position Overview:

Join General Dynamics Information Technology as a Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audio-Visual (AV) Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will lead operational initiatives and oversee the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance service delivery while aligning with the technical roadmap.

Program Support:

This position supports critical efforts within the Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Services program, which is dedicated to providing comprehensive IT services and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hardware and software engineering expertise for enterprise VTC and AV systems.
  • Design, install, configure, and maintain commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software and government-furnished AV and VTC hardware.
  • Oversee equipment configuration and provide on-site installation, diagnosis, repair, and monitoring of VTC facilities.
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of video bridging and teleconferencing services, including Video over IP and Firewall Traversal solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and assess the impact of network circuits on video conferencing services.
  • Provide on-site support for video conferencing, AV, and broadcast operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Arts or Science.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field.
  • Certifications: Must possess a DoD approved baseline certification or higher relevant to the role.
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI required.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
