Bank Teller

Trustco Bank is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our team. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer transactions, and maintaining the security and integrity of our banking operations.

• Customer Service: Provide above-standard customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  
• Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions, including accepting deposits, cashing checks, and issuing money orders and bank checks.
  
• Product Cross-Selling: Cross-sell the Bank's products and services to customers, including credit cards, loans, and other financial products.
  
• Security and Compliance: Maintain the security and integrity of our banking operations, adhering to all bank operational and security policies and procedures.
  
• Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records, including transaction logs and customer information.
  

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent education or experience is required.
  
• Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  
• Cash Handling Experience: Experience handling cash and making change is essential.
  
• Effective Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  
• Organizational Skills: Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
