About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Specialist for Additive Manufacturing to join our team at Galaxy Technologies. As an Application Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing expert application support to our sales team, conducting product presentations, and developing demonstrator systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert application support to the sales team, ensuring seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product presentations, lectures, and demonstrations at internal and external events and meetings, showcasing our additive manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develop demonstrator systems, including CAD model design, construction preparation, and execution, post-processing, and evaluation, to demonstrate the capabilities of our technology.
  • Design and deliver training programs and application courses for customers, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively utilize our products.
Requirements
  • You hold a degree in mechanical engineering or physics, with a strong foundation in additive and traditional metal processing methods.
  • You have practical experience in additive and traditional metal processing methods, ideally with experience in Powder Bed Fusion.
  • You possess computer skills in Materialise Magics or similar applications, as well as CAD/CAM software.
  • You have a proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • You are willing to travel within our sales area, representing our company at various events and meetings.
  • You have fluent German and English language skills in both written and spoken form, enabling effective communication with our global customer base.
