About the Position:

We are currently hiring for multiple Student Grading and Lab Assistants to support electrical engineering courses at the University of Portland. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our students by providing high-quality support services. Whether you choose to focus on grading or lab assistance, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We are seeking applicants who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with students and faculty. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Additional responsibilities may include communicating with faculty members on grading parameters, requirements, and deadlines, as well as meeting timelines for grading work. In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive hourly wage of $15.95, commensurate with the Portland Metro Minimum Wage.
