Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Coordinator to become part of our team. The Logistics Coordinator will oversee the management of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring precision and upholding the quality of our products throughout the shipping process. This position demands exceptional organizational abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Duties:

  • Shipping Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and package orders for dispatch, ensuring that products are securely packed and accurately labeled.
    • Generate and attach shipping labels, and prepare essential shipping documentation.
    • Coordinate with delivery services to arrange pickups and guarantee timely dispatch of orders.
  • Receiving Duties:
    • Receive incoming shipments, confirming the accuracy of orders and inspecting the condition of the products.
    • Unload shipments and organize products in the warehouse in accordance with company standards.
    • Update inventory records and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and maintaining precise inventory records.
    • Organize and replenish inventory shelves as necessary to ensure efficient order processing.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Examine products during the shipping and receiving processes to ensure they meet Sheba Foods' quality standards.
    • Ensure that all packaging and handling procedures maintain the quality and freshness of products.
  • Warehouse Management:
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
    • Ensure that all shipping and receiving equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other team members to support overall warehouse operations.
    • Communicate effectively with the distribution and warehouse teams to resolve any issues or delays.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a warehouse role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and order management systems.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
