Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and educate plant electricians, line mechanics, and leadership on efficient troubleshooting and diagnosis of can-making machinery to maintain product quality and production flow.
- Innovate and refine new products, production machinery, and manufacturing processes.
- Support production facilities and original equipment manufacturers in identifying and resolving mechanical production challenges to enhance efficiency, elevate product quality, boost production capacity, and reduce workplace injuries.
- Collaborate with Plant Management, Project Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to achieve objectives.
- Regular travel to various production sites and equipment suppliers as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- At least 2 years of experience with PLC-based control systems, specifically with Allen-Bradley and Siemens technologies.
- Proven skills in troubleshooting and debugging electrical control systems, including servos, inverter drives, and PLC platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with electrical software such as RS Logix, Studio 5000, or FTV Studio is preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, with frequent overnight stays.
