Job Summary

As a Financial Analyst at Ace Precision Machining, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring data integrity in our manufacturing environment. You will work closely with management to develop, analyze, and track key financial and operational performance indicators, including inventory, rework, direct and indirect hours, manufacturing expenses, payroll, and scrap expense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with management to develop and track key financial and operational performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various functional areas to facilitate cost reductions and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with monthly closing activities related to inventory and COGS, ensuring accurate recording of expenses according to GAAP.
  • Deliver timely and accurate work product, accurately classifying, recording, and summarizing numerical and financial data.
  • Assist with annual budget and forecast process, calculating and updating standard burden rates based on approved budget.
  • Develop and monitor costing methodology, implementing and reviewing proper controls for departmental transactions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide ongoing analysis specific to margin attainment and variances, supporting operations, engineering, and supply chain in identifying sources of variance and aiding in making necessary adjustments.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of three years related work and/or public accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders, and respond to technical inquiries from regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
  • Ability to make presentations to senior management and apply economic and accounting principles, arithmetic, algebra, calculus, and statistics to analyze data and solve problems.
