Patient Dining Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Patient Dining Associate to join our team at Northside Hospital. This role is responsible for communicating between nursing units and the Food Service Department to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Read patient menus to patients twice daily and edit selections to meet dietary restrictions.
- Organize and manage diet orders in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop menu tallies of special requests and ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
- Assemble and deliver meal trays to patient rooms and nursing units.
- Prepare salads, desserts, beverages, and other miscellaneous food items as needed.
Requirements
- 6 months customer service or food service experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of common diet modifications.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Current BLS card (CPR).
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year healthcare food service experience or 2 years food service experience.
Work Hours and Requirements
6am-7pm, with weekend requirements and no on-call requirements.
