We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal air quality and comfort for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment and perform regular checks to prevent downtime.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and perform repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
- Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to junior team members.
- Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions and ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Assist with customers' queries and provide excellent customer service.
- 1 year of experience as a HVAC Technician.
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- Working knowledge of boiler systems and proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
