About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Mainframe Tools Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for software products that run on the z/OS operating systems.

Main Responsibilities:

Provides technical support for software products that run on the z/OS operating systems.

Performs complex software configuration, patching, upgrading, and troubleshooting.

Analyzes complex system software problems using diagnostic tools and/or detailed vendor specifications.

Develops documentation for software requirements and operational procedures.

Determines security access requirements for software products.

Performs all compliance procedures associated with acquiring, maintaining, and disposing of software assets.

Requirements:

4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

4+ years of z/OS experience.

4+ years of TSO (Time Sharing Options) experience.

4+ years of experience with zSeries mainframe operating systems and storage systems.

4+ years of JCL (Job Control Language) experience.

Desired Qualifications:

4+ years REXX programming.

4+ years Assembler programming.

4+ years SMP/E experience.

4+ years supporting IBM, Broadcom, BMC or other mainframe vendor software products.

3+ years z/OS UNIX System Services.
