Position Overview
The Landscape Architect will undertake the following responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and site analysis, along with documentation and drafting tasks as directed by management.
  • Assist in the creation of landscape designs, site layouts, master plans, as well as irrigation and lighting schematics under the guidance of supervisors.
  • Perform drafting tasks to establish project plans and gather data for design initiatives.
  • Analyze and interpret regulatory standards and apply them accurately to design projects.
  • Maintain effective communication with landscape architects, engineers, and the design team regarding any architectural, engineering, or construction matters.
  • Support the development of submission applications, visual graphics, reports, and design drawings.
  • Prioritize and manage time effectively to handle multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints in a dynamic office setting.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
  • An associate's degree or relevant experience to meet job requirements.
  • AutoCAD Certification.
  • Proficiency in essential software, including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong graphic design skills.
  • Experience with LandFX is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of local zoning laws, building codes, and permitting procedures.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage priorities and project timelines.
  • Capability to comprehend and execute complex oral and written instructions.
