We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer III to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-complexity cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures of high complexity, including adult congenital heart echocardiograms and cardiac research projects.
- Responsible for all commonly performed echocardiography procedures in the department with a high level of competence.
- May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
- Graduation from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- 2 of the following certifications: RCS (CCI), ACS (CCI), ARDMS - RDCS(AE), ARDMS - RDCS(PE), ARDMS - RDCS(FE), or ARDMS - RVT.
- 5 years recent relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of diagnostic cardiac sonography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
- Skilled in performing cardiac sonographic examinations with an extensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Robust knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
- A competitive salary range of $77.78 to $97.21 per hour.
