Hospital Cashier Representative

We are seeking a dependable Hospital Cashier to work in the hospital and healthcare industry. As our Hospital Cashier, you will be responsible for performing various tasks, including preparing different types of food items, setting up for cafeteria service, and receiving cash and credit payments. This is a temporary to hire position at an area hospital. Your working hours will be between 6:00am - 6:00 pm, and you will be paid $13.80 per hour.

Your responsibilities as our Hospital Cashier will include:

  • Greeting customers.
  • Accurately entering food orders into the POS system.
  • Collecting money due and accurately counting change.
  • Stocking food items.
  • Completing prep work for the next day.
  • Interacting with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Adhering to all food safety/sanitation policies.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in Cashier work.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to count money accurately.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to hear adequately and communicate verbally with customers.
  • Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Pass all pre-employment screening, including a background screen and drug tests.
