We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to join our team at NovaCare Rehabilitation in Columbia, MD. As an LPTA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, and a commitment to teamwork. They will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants
  • Passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE
  • State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice
