Nationally recognized as a Top 100 Intern Program, WSP USA offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering. Our 12-week internship program is designed to enhance your education and professional skills, providing a comprehensive learning experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented civil engineering intern to join our team in Tacoma. As a summer intern, you will work alongside senior staff on real projects, gaining exposure to the latest engineering techniques and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Support a variety of engineering tasks, including project research, field work, and design calculations.
  • Assist with the preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
  • Collect and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete training on assigned tasks, developing your skills and knowledge in civil engineering.
Requirements
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited civil engineering or related undergraduate program.
  • Anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later.
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Demonstrated interest in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, and software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.
