Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and oversee anesthesia for diverse surgical interventions
  • Modify anesthesia approaches to enhance patient outcomes
  • Manage emergency situations, including airway management and resuscitation efforts
  • Integrate technology and expertise to advance anesthesia practices
  • Apply contemporary theories to effectively address complex anesthesia scenarios
  • Collaborate with peers in a team-oriented anesthesia care model
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of anesthesia techniques and methodologies
  • Serve as a mentor and educator for nurse anesthesia students and other healthcare providers
  • Engage in the development of anesthesia quality assurance processes through detailed record analysis
  • Provide leadership training and ethical guidance impacting patient care

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this position
  • Active and unrestricted nursing license in a U.S. state or territory
  • Degree in nursing from an accredited institution recognized by the appropriate state agency
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
  • Ability to successfully complete a federal background check

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach during work hours
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Capacity to carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Ability to push/pull with a force of 30 lbs
