Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Optical Quality Control Technician to ensure the highest standards of product quality. This role involves inspecting finished eyewear products for any defects or irregularities, ensuring they meet our stringent quality criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of final products (frames and lenses) based on established quality standards.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor or Manager promptly.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in cross-training for various roles within the department.
- Assist in other departmental tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- ABO Certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in an optical laboratory setting is essential.
- A minimum of one year of experience in mounting is preferred.
- Familiarity with the eyeglass manufacturing process and ability to interpret prescriptions is necessary.
