Job Summary:

As a Medical Records Specialist at Infojini Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of patient health information. Your primary responsibilities will include compiling and organizing medical reports, typing health information forms, and providing information from health records after determining the appropriateness of requests. You will also coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with health information technology regulations and confidentiality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Compile and organize medical reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Type health information forms, including charts for new admissions and requests for specific reports or certificates
Compile and type statistical reports, such as daily and monthly census, Medicaid days, admissions, discharges, or length of stay
File reports into health information records, record information in logs, and retrieve health information records in filing systems
Provide information from health records after determining the appropriateness of requests

Requirements:

3 courses or 9 months of experience in records management
1 course or 3 months of experience in medical terminology
1 course or 3 months of experience in typing
