Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Avion Hospitality. As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest and Employee Safety: Maintain a visible presence in the lobby area and ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and employees.
  • Incident Response: Investigate and respond to incidents such as room thefts, auto accidents, and assault complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Security Protocols: Maintain awareness of local ordinances and state regulations, and ensure compliance with Avion Hospitality's security protocols.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests, employees, and outside agencies as necessary.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with Department Head/Hotel leadership to write incident reports and complete other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training, CPR, First Aid, and Heimlich Maneuver Certified.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, both written and verbal; ability to work in a team environment; ability to remain calm under pressure; bilingual communication in Spanish is a plus.
