About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for autonomy software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies that cover all aspects of the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for autonomy software.">
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.">
  • Maintain and oversee the autonomy and robotics lab, including facilities and equipment.">
  • Develop and maintain testbeds and autonomy payloads.">
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner.">
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to increase efficiency and coverage.">
  • Perform regression testing, stress testing, and performance testing to validate software stability and scalability.">
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.">
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.">

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

Basic Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.">
  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on autonomy software or related fields.">
  • Experience in maintaining and managing autonomy and robotics labs.">
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of test engineers.">
  • Research experience in Markov Decision Process, Control, and Reinforcement Learning applications.">
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.">
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and/or Java.">
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).">
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.">
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance.">

Estimated Salary

">

$140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
