Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a Field Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment to apply herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, while maintaining accurate records and performing routine maintenance on equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to crops in accordance with company guidelines and regulations
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including tractors, sprayers, and other machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Keep accurate records of applications, including acreage, chemicals used, and any issues encountered
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain pesticide applicator license and stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Class A or B CDL required; must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle
  • Must pass a drug test and background check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of agricultural pesticides and equipment operation
