About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Sila Nanotechnologies. As a key member of our Data Systems team, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and data transfer across our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, including network protocols, security measures, and cable management.
  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and supervision mechanisms to ensure platform health, performance, and security.
  • Support software engineering CI/CD efforts for Windows-based applications.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in administering, monitoring, and securing firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • 8+ years of experience in administering, monitoring, and securing Windows Server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment from Cisco, Palo Alto, Arista, and Juniper.
  • Knowledge of network operating systems, including JUNOS, IOS, PanOS, and EOS.
  • Experience with network automation using Ansible or other tools.
  • AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect experience.
  • Experience with Enterprise Storage Solutions, including Netapp and Pure Storage.
  • Experience working with MPLS, VPLS, or SD-WAN.
  • Experience with building and supporting multi-site Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Experience with configuration management of Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with on-premise virtualization platforms and physical hardware.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service environments, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Experience supporting in-house built Windows applications and frameworks.
  • Experience supporting Information Security policies, controls, and initiatives.
