Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Beecan Health - CA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with breathing disorders, working closely with physicians to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including mechanical ventilators and therapeutic gas administration apparatus.
  • Conduct pulmonary function studies to determine the volume, distribution, and movement of air in the respiratory system.
  • Perform chest physical therapy treatments to mobilize secretions and mucus in the lungs and clear airway blockage.
  • Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy and consult with physicians if adverse reactions occur.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current, unencumbered California Respiratory License credentialed by the NBRC.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • 2-4 years' experience providing direct Respiratory Therapy care to multiple patients/residents preferred.
