Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general diagnostic radiologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy, under the direction of a radiologist or other licensed physician.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and any necessary instructions.
  • Position patients correctly for imaging, using techniques to minimize discomfort and exposure.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • State of California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License and Fluoroscopy Permit.
  • AHA BLS Certification and American Registry of Radiologist Technologist (ARRT) Radiology certification.
