Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team at Duke Regional Hospital. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for operating sonographic equipment, performing diagnostic examinations, and communicating results to radiologists. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic ultrasound examinations
  • Operate sonographic equipment and adapt procedures as needed
  • Communicate findings to radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Assist with daily operations of the ultrasound department
  • Maintain equipment and work area, and ensure adequate supplies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree or completion of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification. You will also need to hold required registry or certification, such as ARDMS certification within 18 months of hire. BLS certification is also required.
