Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Filing Senior Analyst to join our team at Alight. As a key member of our tax compliance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily tax filings for assigned legal entities and clients. This includes distributions of tax remittances according to tax jurisdiction guidelines. Your primary goal will be to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax filings to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Be the primary point of contact for tax filing inquiries and provide subject matter expertise for payroll tax filing and company POV.
  • Manage tax filing suppliers and oversee delivery operations, including tax filing suppliers.
  • Coordinate and support testing for updated interfaces and implement new clients.
  • Manage variance analysis control points and respond timely to inquiries from client/partner teams.
  • Support and provide timely research on compliance and regulatory issues.
  • Compile, report, and analyze metrics to identify process or other issues and provide support for suggested resolutions to management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll tax filing.
  • 2+ years of experience in client interaction management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel (i.e., pivot tables, vlookup, macro development, etc.).
  • 2+ years of experience with tax filing software.
  • Experience in Master Tax and/or ADP Smart Compliance.
