Museum Partnerships Coordinator

We are seeking a highly dynamic and strategically minded Museum Partnerships Coordinator to join our team at Escalon Recruiting Services. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with museums and cultural institutions. Your primary focus will be on developing partnerships that align with our company's software solutions and the strategic goals of our museum partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key museum and cultural center stakeholders, including directors, curators, and operations managers.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities that align with both the company's and the museum's strategic goals.
  • Collaborative Projects: Coordinate joint initiatives, such as exhibitions, educational programs, or digital transformation projects, that highlight the benefits of our software for museums.
  • Strategic Support: Collaborate with Business Development Managers to craft and refine proposals, presentations, and pitches that communicate the value of our partnerships.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at museum-related events, conferences, and industry meetings to establish and expand our network within the cultural sector.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about trends, challenges, and opportunities in the museum sector, providing insights that inform partnership strategies.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on partnership progress, including key metrics and outcomes, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the museum and cultural institution landscape, including emerging trends and technological needs.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically about partnership opportunities, aligning them with business development goals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with experience managing cross-functional projects from concept to completion.
  • Networking: Established a network within the museum sector and the ability to engage with industry leaders and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to the evolving needs of both the museum sector and the company's business environment.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to anticipate and address challenges in partnerships, ensuring successful outcomes.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within the cultural sector or a related industry.
  • Experience working with or within museums, cultural institutions, or other non-profit organizations.
  • Familiarity with software solutions targeted at museums or similar sectors.
