Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance throughout the facility to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and downtime is minimized.
  • Diagnose, dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery, including hoists, lifts, and conveyors, to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with team members and work independently to troubleshoot and address maintenance challenges effectively.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and service schedules.
  • Partner with other departments to support production goals and ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry or a similar production environment.
  • Relevant certifications or additional training related to machinery maintenance or industrial systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.
