**Job Title:** Food Service Team Member Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Team Member Assistant to join our team at Southern Multifoods, Inc.

**Estimated Salary:** $12-$14 per hour

**About the Role:

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with front-line food preparation procedures. This involves wiping tables, maintaining a clean dining room and parking lot, and providing excellent customer service.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Somewhat equivalent to a high school diploma or higher preferred.
  • Cleanliness, neatness, and good grooming are essential for this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with customers and colleagues are necessary.
  • Good hearing is required to communicate with customers and fellow employees, as well as to operate the drive-through when needed.
  • Honesty and integrity are paramount in this position.
  • The ability to follow verbal and written instructions, read recipes, and understand basic knowledge of fast food operations is vital.
  • This role requires attention to detail, the ability to cope with pressure, and remaining calm in challenging situations.
  • A team-oriented mindset and the ability to perform job duties with minimal disruption to customers or colleagues are essential.
  • This position involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and stooping for approximately 90% of the shift time.
  • Manual dexterity is required to work rapidly and accurately during peak periods.
  • The ability to work as part of a team to ensure consistent and excellent customer satisfaction through quality, service, and cleanliness is crucial.

**General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt, efficient service and quality products.
  • Maintain excellence in quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Consistently deliver accurate product portions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all equipment operation.
  • FOLLOW ALL SAFETY RULES, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES.

**Job Training:

This is an entry-level position that typically requires one to three months of experience to gain job knowledge. Close supervision will be provided, and customer contact will be moderate in duration with close supervision.

**Decision-Making Responsibilities:

Must be able to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to customer needs, the dining area, and work environment. Follow established policies and procedures.
