This is a key role that will provide strategic advice and counsel to internal partners on labor relations, HR policies, and programs related to employee engagement, job assignment and progression, talent planning, and other general human resource topics.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal partners on labor relations, HR policies, and programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, job assignment and progression, and talent planning.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and management in Operations, Maintenance, and Staff departments, as well as with Union representatives, the Union Bargaining Committee, the Plant Manager, HR staff, and the internal Legal team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations affecting HR practices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on labor relations and talent management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
