Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Operations Coordinator to join our team at Piedmont HealthCare. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our clinical employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our back office, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of clinical staff, including phlebotomy and lab duties, to ensure efficient and effective back office operations.
  • Triage patients in a timely manner and ensure they are placed in the appropriate rooms.
  • Ensure sufficient clinical staffing levels for daily operations and advise the practice manager and physicians of staffing needs.
  • Review and approve Paid Time Off (PTO) requests and assist with the selection, supervision, and counseling of clinical staff.
  • Assist clinical staff with patient-related issues, equipment, and supply matters.
  • Recommend process improvements and conduct regular audits of back office operations.
  • Serve as the super user for quality, safety, and clinical initiatives.
  • Inventory and order medical supplies, project costs, and arrange for delivery.
  • Perform patient care activities as required of a Licensed Practical Nurse, providing clinical services under direct physician supervision.
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited practical nurse program.
  • Three (3) years of back office experience in a healthcare setting.
  • State of Georgia licensure as a practical nurse.
  • BLS certification.
