Our client is a fast-growing commercial construction company seeking a skilled professional to lead their projects. With a strong focus on teamwork and excellent service, they have established themselves as a leader in the commercial space.

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction on commercial construction projects. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring and controlling construction, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

  • Develop and implement project plans, prioritizing tasks and assigning responsibilities to team members.
  • Coordinate the preparation of schedules and long-term planning, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, reviewing and approving budgets, cost reports, and rental equipment expenses.
  • Perform final reviews of internal items, including cost analysis, monthly billing, and master cost breakdowns.
  • Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, and coordination with other trades, ensuring timely payments.
  • Create and maintain a safe and secure job site environment, adhering to industry standards.
  • Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submittal, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Train and develop the project team, scheduling project resources and ensuring effective project execution.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of construction experience, with a strong background in commercial construction.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong track record of client relationships and a desire to grow professionally.
