Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Account Manager Assistant to support our sales team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with sales representatives, sales leaders, and other sales resources to manage opportunities, update sales data, and ensure timely order completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage email and telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, and order changes from customers, sales reps, and internal departments.
- Support sales representatives in managing opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and data updates.
- Work with sales teams to support national or named account assignments and other sales team relationships.
- Review weekly sales reports and update supported territory deals in Salesforce.
- Assist sales and pre-sales teams in accessing and using Salesforce reports.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure all required documents are compiled for order processing.
- Work with OEM/Vendor/Disti tools to complete registrations for quotes and deals.
- Assist sales teams in uploading vendor SKUs and pricing into Salesforce.
- Frequent interaction with sales, pre-sales, finance, and service delivery teams to ensure high-quality customer outcomes.
- Develop a working understanding of the order process to ensure timely and accurate order submission.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience in sales support or related end-user sales assignments.
- A 2-year degree from an accredited institution.
- A sales-biased mindset and understanding of how to positively impact sales and order completion velocity.
- Product and recurring bookings experience or proven knowledge in similar positions.
- Skills working with Salesforce or equivalent tools, with sales and pre-sales teams in forecasting and quoting functions.
- Knowledge of vendor partner programs and processes.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, TigerPaw, Sales Logix, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of standard business processes, such as the Opportunity to Cash process.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
