Shift Details:
2nd shift: 4:45 pm - 3:45 am

Job Responsibilities:

The primary role involves setting up and operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels and products on rolls of flexible plastic film, paper, and various other materials according to job specifications.

Candidates must ensure setups and production adhere to established standards and timelines.

Key Duties:
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
  • Exhibit punctuality, regular attendance, and professionalism towards supervisors and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Review job specifications and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and set up dies, inks, materials, and plates for press operation.
  • Monitor and adjust the press to ensure consistent product quality, including color accuracy and proper registration.
  • Inspect printed materials for defects and maintain equipment through routine maintenance.

  • Proficient in reading and comprehending simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Able to address issues involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong communication skills for sharing ideas and work assignments.
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to read both standard and metric rulers.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.


Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, reach, and move hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, and communicate.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 125 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include color vision and depth perception.

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, dust, chemicals, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
