Job Summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Iowa is seeking a highly skilled IT Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining our technology systems, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Systems Management: Evaluate current technology use and needs, recommending software and hardware improvements to enhance our systems.
  • Network Maintenance: Maintain network systems, installing new hardware and modifying existing hardware, and related network software and applications.
  • Device Management: Install and maintain peripheral devices, including printers, hubs, routers, and other equipment.
  • User Support: Communicate with end users to understand and troubleshoot problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • System Diagnostics: Conduct periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal network and program function.
  • Device Log Management: Create and maintain a device log of all company computers, tablets, printers, and other technology-related equipment.
  • Email and Intranet Services: Maintain email and intranet services, adding and removing users and accounts.
  • Professional Development: Remain current on advances in technology, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations.
  • Project Support: Assist in project implementation and other IT-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education, trade, vocational, apprenticeship, or other equivalent.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to interact well at various levels of the organization.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of existing network programs and capabilities, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Adaptability: Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Positive and professional attitude and demeanor, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of organization proprietary information.
  • Driver's License: Valid Iowa State Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
