Opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator at Gpac

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team at Gpac, a well-established company in the Mechanical industry. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating the cost of mechanical systems in various projects and ensuring efficient project performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the mechanical bid process for projects, ensuring accurate cost estimates and efficient project delivery.
  • Perform thorough cost comparisons and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Estimate the cost of mechanical plans and develop schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving techniques and materials to optimize project profitability.
  • Review and understand Contract Drawings and Specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, preferably in a mechanical estimating role.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed to ensure effective project management.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and plans to accurately estimate costs and identify potential issues.
