Position Overview:
This is a non-travel role focused on in-shop welding tasks. We are seeking skilled welders to operate in our facility.

Work Schedule and Compensation:
40 hours per week. Compensation is determined by the weld tests completed, typically ranging from $28 to $32 per hour. No per diem is provided as this position does not require travel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Isometric & P&ID drawings along with job specifications to ascertain work requirements.
- Prepare materials for welding, cutting, or fabrication.
- Fabricate and modify piping systems and process equipment, including drafting or redlining drawings as necessary.
- Conduct field verification of piping and structural systems.
- Execute welding tasks in accordance with applicable codes and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders and materials utilized.
- Operate hand and power tools, as well as hydraulic, air, and electric shop equipment.
- Adhere to company and customer policies and procedures.
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture and take personal responsibility for safe work practices.
- Utilize respiratory equipment and local exhaust ventilation systems as required.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant training and/or experience is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to commute to the work location.
- Proficiency in down-hand and up-hand welding is essential.
- Experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred.
- Successful completion of stainless steel and carbon steel pipe tests is mandatory prior to employment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Pre-employment drug screening is required.
- Certifications: Must hold certification in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), or Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) as per American Welding Society D1.1 standards.
- North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification may be necessary.

Salary:
Dependent on experience.
