Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Sealing Devices. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for following detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to assemble parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Use templates and read measurements to position parts and sub-assemblies accurately.
  • Examine connections to assemble fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Supervisor.
  • Complete administrative functions related to business or regulatory requirements.
  • Document production and quality forms.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, and expediting orders.
  • Responsible for following departmental procedures and work instructions as written.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the assembly department.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in assembly or a related field.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Strong oral communication and computer skills.
