Job Responsibilities:
New Season operates several accredited methadone treatment facilities committed to assisting individuals struggling with prescription drug dependency and opiate addiction in reclaiming their lives.
We pride ourselves on treating our patients with the utmost dignity and respect throughout their treatment process.
- Conduct intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer documentation for patients.
- Document patient progress through counseling sessions and group interactions.
- Develop comprehensive psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans within designated timelines.
- Identify clinical and case management needs, working proactively to address them.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions as required.
- Engage in direct patient contact through one-on-one or group counseling.
- Report any instances of patient abuse, neglect, or exploitation as mandated.
- Address patient grievances in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate patients on all facets of their treatment, related health issues, and recovery steps.
- Administer Urine Drug Screens and verify initial patient identification.
- Monitor patient activities within the treatment center.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives as directed.
- Ensure familiarity with and adherence to the Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Comply with Federal Confidentiality Regulations and HIPAA standards.
- Maintain necessary licensure and/or certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Engage in preparation for surveys and inspections by relevant regulatory bodies.
- Attend all staff meetings and uphold compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Act in the best interests of the organization, safeguarding proprietary information.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by clinic or corporate leadership.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
While experience in the substance abuse field is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience:
A minimum of 500 hours of experience in the substance abuse sector is required.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the capacity to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain reliability. Basic mathematical skills are also necessary.
