Job Overview

Position Summary

This position offers graphic design expertise to support the entire Weatherby organization, aiming to ignite the aspirations of outdoor enthusiasts. Building strong relationships both internally and externally is crucial for delivering exceptional marketing materials.


Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold brand consistency across all produced artwork
  • Create designs for packaging, manuals, warranty cards, literature, and advertisements
  • Prepare print-ready catalogs
  • Design graphics for advertisements, signage, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives
  • Oversee photography direction and manage in-house photography and editing
  • Assist Digital Marketing with design, imagery, email, and manual requirements
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical files for artwork and photo archives
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and partners regarding image requirements
  • Coordinate with print vendors
  • Support the sales team with presentation graphics and PowerPoint materials
  • Develop graphics for trade show booths
  • Engage in special projects and additional tasks as needed

Additional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of Weatherby branding and style guidelines
  • Assist in the creation of Product Road Maps
  • Support Digital Marketing initiatives with content and design work
  • Design new advertising campaigns centered on Weatherby branding
  • Maintain a technical data sheet repository for all Weatherby products
  • Participate in weekly marketing strategy meetings
  • Address all graphic and artistic requests

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, or a combination of education and experience providing technical knowledge in graphic design.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a professional setting.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications, with a commitment to staying current with software updates.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Accountabilities

Achieve the objectives set by the Marketing Manager during quarterly performance evaluations.


Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is expected to:

  • Primarily engage in sedentary work, with occasional requirements to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds on rare occasions.
  • Possess specific vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
