PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on a wide range of machinery, from small hand tools to larger equipment, utilizing both visual inspections and diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct repairs on various types of equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for necessary repairs.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and service tasks.
  • Ensure the workshop remains organized and clean.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Support customers with the loading and unloading of rental machinery.

REQUIREMENTS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a formal training program in mechanics is preferred.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts and early or late hours as necessary.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day.
  • Frequent use of hands for detailed manipulation, grasping, pushing, and pulling tasks.
  • Proficient in operating and utilizing power and electrical tools.
  • Frequent foot movement in repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to work at heights using ladders or man lifts.
  • Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Must be able to operate a variety of tools and machinery, including hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and heavy equipment.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory, with a driving record that meets company insurance criteria.
