Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that patients receive individualized attention and treatment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and other RNs, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, plans, and interventions, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Patient Education and Support: Provide patients and their families with education and support to promote health literacy, self-management, and empowerment.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Education and Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Experience and Skills: One year prior RN experience preferred, with skills in G-tube care and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications and Training: Current BLS card and Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
