Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Delva Tool & Machine, a CMT company. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality assessments and measurements on products to ensure they meet specified dimensions. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct first article inspections and generate reports detailing the quality of products.
- Develop and maintain inspection reports to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Perform inspections across all stages of production to identify areas for quality control improvement.
- Prepare and maintain test data for review and evaluation.
- Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency and implement new methods accordingly.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 5+ years of prior experience working with inspection tools, engineered drawings, prints, and assessing customer requirements within a CNC machine shop.
- Proven experience using PCMM and/or CMM technology.
- Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ERP systems (Job Boss is a plus).
- Experience with a quality management system; familiarity with AS 9100 process documentation is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Aerospace specs requirements is a plus.
