Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying proposal opportunities and providing clients with qualifications, pricing, and estimates
  • Conducting site visits to establish boring locations and assess site conditions
  • Managing project budgets effectively
  • Processing soil samples for detailed analysis
  • Leading and executing geotechnical project tasks, including engineering analysis, report writing, field exploration, and laboratory services
  • Handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Performing on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests related to geotechnical investigations
  • Participating in project site meetings
  • Maintaining communication with clients via phone and email
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil and/or Geotechnical engineering required
  • Experience in drafting geotechnical reports is required
  • PE Registration is highly preferred, but not mandatory
  • Valid Driver's License and a reliable driving record (required)
  • Experience in soil classification
  • Familiarity with software for developing geotechnical engineering reports is preferred; training will be provided if necessary
