JOB TITLE: Truss Laborer

FUNCTION: Fabricate roof and floor trusses for both residential and commercial projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and execute the company vision and core values.
• Safely assemble floor and roof trusses in line with customer expectations and company protocols.
• Effectively interpret work orders and construction instructions into a high-quality finished product.
• Precisely cut angles in wood for truss assembly.
• Secure gusset plates onto trusses using hammers.
• Feed trusses into the roller machine.
• Move and stack trusses as required.
• Operate machinery as trained and in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain a tidy working environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Practical mathematics and measurement skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a high-performance production team.
• Capability to meet performance goals in a time-sensitive and quality-focused setting.
• Show initiative and dependability with minimal supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Heavy physical work requirements: exerting up to 50 lbs of force regularly.
• Repetitive impact motion associated with hammering and other construction activities.
• Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.
