Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at Moraine Park Technical College. As an Adjunct Faculty, you will play a key role in delivering quality education to our students, teaching part-time positions with flexible class assignments and varying locations each term.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Nursing, Nursing Assistant, and Surgical Technology courses at our Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, and West Bend campuses.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the College's educational philosophy and programs.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve student success and retention.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and technologies.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field, or Associate's Degree in Nursing with experience in long-term care.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin, in good standing with clinical agencies.
  • Experience in teaching and curriculum development, with a strong commitment to student-centered learning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and concepts in a professional manner.
  • Ability to adapt to meet student needs, including flexibility in scheduling, workload, and type/variety of communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with online learning platforms and student management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to meet student needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage time and schedule effectively.
