Job SummaryMoraine Park Technical College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paramedic Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and facilitating student learning in our Paramedic program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver curriculum for our Paramedic program, ensuring it meets the needs of our students and the healthcare industry.
- Provide instruction and guidance to students, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in emergency medical services, incorporating this knowledge into your teaching and curriculum development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program assessments and evaluations.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of our college's strategic plan.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or willingness to obtain one from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Paramedic in the State of Wisconsin.
- Experience in pre-hospital emergency care, with a strong understanding of patient assessment, airway and respiratory management, and cardiac and pulmonary arrest management.
- Ability to teach in a variety of settings, including classroom, lab, and clinical environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
- A competitive salary range of $62,269-$77,836.
