Key Responsibilities- Evaluate undergraduate student records and determine credit to be awarded for courses completed for transfer into the University.
- Create and maintain degree audit and degree audit requirements.
- Advise students, faculty, and staff about accreditation and University transfer credit policy and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Registrar for Transfer Affairs to ensure accurate and efficient processing of student records.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of University policies and procedures related to transfer credit and degree audit.
- Bachelor's degree and two to four years related experience required.
- Aptitude for math, detail-oriented, and effective communication skills (written and verbal) required.
- Effective customer service skills required.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice, and fostering a collaborative multicultural environment required.
- Experience encoding requirements in a degree-audit tool, especially direct experience with Degree Works, highly desirable.
- Experience creating specialized code, maintaining and testing validation and rule tables, and manipulating coding language in degree audit programming software highly desirable.
- Knowledge of BANNER student information system and experience in higher education desirable.
This is a bargaining unit position, and a probationary period may be required. Occasional evening and/or weekends may be required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime). This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy. A background check is required for this position.
