2. Maintenance and Support: Deliver continuous maintenance and support for existing code. Diagnose reported issues by comprehending customer business workflows.

3. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to guarantee software dependability and efficiency.

4. Requirements Translation: Convert business needs into comprehensive design specifications, facilitating effective software creation.

5. Project Management: Oversee multiple enhancements simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines while upholding a high standard of quality.

6. Mentorship: Provide guidance to existing staff on Accela system development practices to elevate the team's skill set.

7. Software Development Lifecycle: Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) proficiently.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript Development
  • Experience with Accela Civic Platform & Citizen Access Administration and Configuration
  • Knowledge of Accela EMSE scripting
  • Familiarity with Accela Construct API and web services
  • Understanding of Accela Civic Platform integration with third-party applications
  • Ability to document current and future business processes
  • Competence in applying business analysis principles and practices.
  • Skilled in gathering, documenting, and clarifying software requirements.
  • Capacity to work autonomously with minimal oversight, delivering high-quality software within established timelines and budgets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
  • Dependable and punctual with a commitment to excellence.
  • Receptive to constructive feedback and eager to learn and grow.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with various departments and adhere to documentation protocols.
  • Coordinate and participate in application upgrades and modifications.
  • Document functionalities and changes to new or updated features.
  • Implement approved system enhancements, releases, and optimizations.
  • Engage in research to identify existing solutions within the organization.
  • Support end-user training by providing information and assistance to instructional designers.
  • Contribute to the formulation of formal business cases for proposed solutions.
  • Coordinate technical changes, verify testing outcomes, and ensure compliance with technical and business standards.
  • Provide updates on issue resolutions and planned updates and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and system errors, escalating when necessary.
  • Work with the business to develop detailed user acceptance test cases and flows, including test plans, cases, protocols, and testing environments.
  • Participate in meetings to review end-user feedback, workflow challenges, system capabilities, and potential system enhancements.

Contract Duration: 9-12 months with the possibility of extension.

On-Site Requirements: Onsite three days per week. Onsite final round interview.
