About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology EP Tech to provide high-quality patient care and assist with invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures at The Medical Center of Aurora, a leading healthcare provider in the eastern metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, administering medications, and recognizing EKG rhythms.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist with emergency situations during high-risk procedures and interact with physicians to interpret and record data.
- Manage supply ordering, evaluate stocking needs, and check expiration dates on medications and equipment.
- Transfer patients to and from the Cath Lab for procedures and report to receiving nursing units.
Requirements:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification.
